I’ve gotten to the point where I cannot care for my car anymore. What maitenance should I do until I have $?
About all I can afford are oil changes and tire rotations. The manual says I need to do a tranny flush and have all the filters changed. The dealer says that will cost $600. Will the wheels fall off if I put off the tranny flush and filter changes for a few months. I drive a 2003 Ford Focus with 60,000 miles.
I pay for everything in cash. I quit using credit cards due to enormous credit card debt, which I am working on paying off. The car is paid for.
Dont worry about the trans fluid change. The transmission will be just fine without it. Just keep a check on it and as long as it stays red, it’s ok. You can do the oil changes and tire rotations yourself even if you have no mechanical abilities.

John Deere 316 mower deck help?
Anyone know if a 52″ mower deck off from a John Deere 318 will fit my 316 machine? It has a 42″ deck on it now, but it’s in rough shape. Found a nice used 52″, but wondering if the hook ups are the same? Thanks!
Yeah, I have a 18 hp motor and the tractor the 52″ deck is coming off from is a 18 hp. I see what you’re saying, if I have both decks, I might be able to swap parts to make it work.
You should be able to make it work if you have both decks. But are they the same size motor? Might slow down performance
